Hi, my name is Maria Homer, I’m the founder and CEO of Illuminate Life Candle Co. I am a wife and stay-at-home mother of two. After realizing how many toxins are truly in our home on a day-to-day basis, I slowly began cleaning up and looking into the products I use. I began creating my own candles in 2022 for myself and for friends and family. Creating an elegant candle that is not only lovely and will fill a room, but is also non-toxic and safe. In 2023, we unfortunately experienced three miscarriages. I found creating my candles to be therapeutic and relaxing. As a way to honor my angel babies and to shine a light on how precious life is, I decided to start a small business: Illuminate Life. A portion of our proceeds help support local pregnancy centers.
